[spincrus] - I don't think your nose has the same chemical reaction to salt as as slugs do, and if by some slim chance it does, I certainly wouldn't not recommend dissolving the inside of your nose. Just stick to putting it on your chips....

2006-07-27 [spincrus]: One of my most embarrassing moments in my life happened that way actually. It was cold, I had a cold, I was in highschool and we were chatting with friends, and someone made a joke, everyone was laughing (including me) but then, thanks to my runny nose, a huge mucoid bubble came out and burst... I've seen the same thing happen to a friend of mine a week later though :P

2006-07-27 [shotokan_gal]: Never been that close to slugs, although I used to like snails. Me and my brother would pick them up and 'play' with them in my grandad's garden, then put them over the fence when we were done so he wouldn't salt them for eating his plants...

2006-07-27 [spincrus]: I was watering the garden today and noticed a snail, so I wet its path a little with the hose for it to move faster and such :) I love snails. I like slugs too actually, the only problem is, they're just EVERYWHERE on our garden and when I come back home in the dark, I have to be veeery careful not to step on one.

2006-07-27 [Solitary Comfort]: Snails are awesome, so friendly and cheerful. Slugs on the other hand aren't really that cooperative, and are a bit too slimey. It's really bad during autumn when I drive into our drive I keep hear the crunch as I drive over them, it can't be helped though :(

2006-07-27 [shotokan_gal]: Urgh you reminded me of when I stepped on a slug in my bfs kitchen in the dark last term (barefeet) :/ . They had damp in their student house, which caused these little ones to hang around. I was just minding my own business, and *squelch*. Was rather nasty. Have to avoid snails all over the path when it's rained a lot too.
